He wants to read books (especially about Maths), comprise programmes about all different things where he can understanding about. He reads, learns very much in his spare time. So it is not quite strange that he is really smart. At school he is working to get is A Maths, which he gets in the end of the story. In the future he would akin to become an astronaut. But because of his ‘little problems’ this is very unrealistic and unlikely. nonpareil of the other important characters in the story is Christopher’s father. He has been taking care of Christopher on his own since the moment that Christopher’s mother moved to London. He works to make money, which causes Christopher to be home alone many times.

This is not such a big problem, because Christopher doesn’t care much to be alone. Christopher’s father does everything what is the best for Christopher, but Christopher doesn’t notice this all the time and he gets incensed to his father. But his father is always patient with Christopher and doesn’t get idle! much. An other slight important character is Christopher’s mother. She made her role slight important by fleeing from Christopher and his father. Christopher’s parents used to live in concert and raise Christopher together.
