Frankenstein is the story of a man whose ambitions makes him to seek for supernatural powers. His aim is to reach God-like level besides basically he acts for his own interest. For Victor his own glory is a goal for him to achieve. With his mothers death he has a beefed-up feeling that death is not fair so he finds a way to achieve his goal by genuinely creating a new species which would ignore illness and disease, which it would also be strong and beautiful.
