One of the most important ways that we make sense datum of and shape the world is through stories. This has now become more and more recognised across the world from politics to problem and humanities and culture. McKee writes that self-knowledge is the root of all great storytelling, and in antediluvian patriarch times, tribes would recognise the power and magic of the storyteller, and this is something we are now more and more returning to.

Story give the gate take many forms. It can be a written piece of fiction. It can be something told again and again passed down through the generations. It can be a film or play, or it can be the way we make sense of the modern world in a multiplicity of forms.
