Reflection piece on Micro-teach

In this section, I shall be demonstrating ways I have used to reflect in order to critically measure out my micro-teach practice. Reflection is an important kind-hearted activity in which people re-capture their experience, mull it over and evaluate it. It is working with experience that is important in acquire (Boud et al, 1985). pedagogics is defined as a system of activities intended to pay off learning, comprising the deliberate, methodical creation and control of those conditions in which learning does infer on (Curzon, 1997) This session was observed by Dr.Helen Oughton (senior lecturer of Adult learning skills and Numeracy) and a group of my peers.
I set out the aims and objectives of the principle session. This view was supported by (Daines et al, 1993) who stated that the teacher must know what it is that he or she intends to teach and what the students are judge to learn as an outcome for the joint effort. By background knowledge aims and objectives, it helped me to focus on my topic and as well as making sure that the topic I planned was pertinent and effective. By doing a lesson plan, it enabled me to think through each human face and make sure that there were no holes.



My lesson plan (see caper 2), I highlighted that I was going to use power locate presentation, give hand-outs to the group and give extension work hand-outs. Even though I felt crap going into a classroom, there is so much provision and preparation that is possible.
