With my musket ready I give awayd the artillery from wheeler dealer’s side of the field come screaming in. The enlargement deafened me and kil guide three of my rebel friends right next to me. because I heard the rebel yell and we charged out upon the cornfield. I took a knee and sent a fusillade from my musket, which snap through the chest of one of my enemies. As I poured the powdered charge for my musket, the shrapnel from one of those darn Yankee canons tore through my left leg. I winced in pain and time-tested to continue to reload my musket. I remember the acrid sense of the gunpowder and blood as the battle continued.
Within the instant I was transported by wagon to a backline hospital.
