Richard Wright was an African American author who was born on family line 4, 1908, in
Natchez, Mississippi, and died on November 28, 1960 in Paris of a total attack. He was known for his
controversial novels and short stories. He in any case wrote some poems and non-fiction literary productions. Most of the writing were about racism and how it had been hazard for a genuinely long time. This was the topic of his writing in the story Black Boy. Racism was the topic of many of his writings when referring to the African Americans and their struggle in everyday life, including his own.
Richard started to have problems when he was four years old when he burned the crime syndicate down while playing with matches. Richard was a smart boy. He was sometimes hard to understand because he was either very quiet or very outspoken. While he grew up in a family with much abuse, and racism in the South, he finds some relief in reading and writing. Richards problems started getting worsened after his father Nathan left him, his fret, and brother to be with some other woman. With his father leaving, the family began to struggle financially. They had no food or money, and Richard knowing to blame his father for their problems and also grew to dislike him.




Richards mother Ella, tried very hard to provide for the family and worked countless hours. By her working so much, she did not have time to pay heed after Richard and his brother Alan. So, Richard started to get into much trouble. Richard would spy on the people while they were in the outhouses and began to drink alcohol. He would avenge the saloon nearby and became an alcoholic by the time he was six years old. His mother became sick and Richard took it upon himself to provide for the family. He would do jobs that were given to him to make some money since he was too young to get a real job. By doing this, Richard did not have time for school anymore, but he had to continue trying.
