Upon Daves removal, he was made a ward of the court and arrayd in sustain care until he enlisted in the U.S. Air mightiness at age 18. I read A Man Named Dave, by Dave Pelzer. It was a genuinely interesting record. It starts strike by talking about Daves childhood. He was beaten by his mother. When the police found out he was put into foster care. He stayed in foster care until the age of 18. boost care was tough for him but when he got it of it his life got tougher. He joined the Air personnel office to achieve his life vast dream of being a pi dower. In the Air Force he met patsy. He married her and had a kid named Stephen. later on eight years they got a divorce. Dave got a job at a hotel. He quit after a few years.
Im not going to tell you the ending because it would ruin it.
I rated this book as an eight. I gave it this rating because it had a lot of good information. It was also very interesting. If you read this book you would not believe some of the stuff Dave had to go through. This story took place in San Francisco. If I could change anything in this book I would shorten it. Before you read this book, you should read A squirt Called It, and A Lost Boy.
My favorite character in the book is Dave because he has given much of his lifes energy to abused and miss children. As a lecturer and speaker, he talks and writes in order to give future generations an ability to trust that he did not have.
